Bradford demo against Iraq attack

A thousand people were anticipated, over three thousand turned up
The march started from Lister Park in Manningham and and went through the city centre with a rally in Centenary Square in front of City Hall.
The demonstration, which was led by the magnificent Peace Artists band, was lively and good humoured and consisted of all shades of opposition from faith groups to Class War, and was representatively multicultural.
Several speakers addressed the rally.
Interestingly, Labour MP Alan Simpson called for the removal of the Labour leadership.
Better get down to it, man

I will attend the huge up and coming London demo, however, they choose to march to Hyde Park and converge in a wide open parkland, instead of directing this vast body of protesters to swamp Trafalgar Square, Parliament, Buckingham Palace or the American Embassy and cause maximum disruption on the city's favourite shopping day, Saturday.
So much for civil-disobedience, the sheeple are too feeble to step out of the box and make a real impact.
But the majority has spoken, so when the war commences without our support or consent, this "democracy" will be seen for the sham that it is, and hopefully, the public will no longer tolerate this form of governance.
