The province of British Columbia in Canada has a governement that is quickly implementing the neo-liberal economics policies promulgated by the IMF and WTO. For instance,there are massive reductions to social assistance with time limits, dismantling of the judiciary through closures of legal aid offices,the closure of the Human Rights Commission and reductions to services in health care along with destruction of collective bargaining with unions. Further, there isn't an Offical Opposition to this government since they have a whopping majority in our Legislature.
