Writers Boycott Nestle Festival

Germaine Greer, respected and noted feminist and writer and Jim Crace, a former Booker Prize nominee have pulled out of the Nestle sponsored Hay-on-Wye literature festival. Germaine Greer said in an interview, "...I will not take part in an event where a Nestle banner is sported." She rocks! So do you Jim!!! It's also interesting to note that the Guardian, who normally cover the ongoing Nestle debate seem to missed coverage of this particular twist in the ongoing saga. Could this be because they also are sponsoring the event? As a progressive group we find ourselves turning to news outlets like CCN and the Telegraph for news coverage of this walk-out?!!?
