Burnley unites against the BNP

Burnley residents will join forces with anti-racists from across the country on Saturday at a mass demonstration against the British National Party.

This will mark the launch of a concerted mass campaign to kick the Nazi BNP out of town. The election of three BNP councillors on 2 May has underlined the urgent need for united grassroots action against fascism and racism. The
vast majority of Burnley voters are utterly opposed to the BNP's dogma of race hatred. On Saturday, this anti-Nazi majority will unite and fight back.

Yes sure, but what about the people who WANT them? Those who voted BNP. Are we to imply that they're just stupid or something? That they need educating? Simply booting the BNP out is not a democratic act. It's bullying. It's oppression. You people on the left have to realise that not everybody shares your views.

The recent attack on the Asian community in Burnley by the BNP was deliberate, to inflame passions and white insecurities and bring about this result, an extreme reaction, and like good little sheeple, the racists took the bait and backed the NF. It's not immigrants who are threatening us, we've never been bombed by Muslims, it's the oppressive Police State that we should be fighting, not the victims of globalisation, vulnerable asylum seekers.
