On the Job with the Public Order Mob

account of a visit from our frinds in the Met

I was visited this morning by the Scotland Yard Public Order branch, looking for my son in connection with May Day. It’s not illegal now to demonstrate on May Day? I enquired. No, they just wanted to deliver a letter. Clearly they don’t trust the post office (now renamed Mailtrack) to do the job. What was odd was they had brought along a police cameraman and were recording the whole thing. What did they expect to find? I had just got out of the bath and was dressed only in a towel (enough to induce a breach of public order, some might think). Can I demand a copy of the film or to see it destroyed? I don’t want to end up on some porno compilation: On the Job with the Public Order Mob.
Is anyone keeping track of these pre-May Day visits?
