Yeah, there have been plans for and Ireland Indymedia site for some time now.
Check up  http://lists.indymedia.org/ for the discussions on Ireland IMC website.
Go to "Europe Lists" and you'll find the Ireland ones there.

Why isn't there an Irish IMC already? Get on with it folks! An Irish IMC is a very good idea, however it could be better to have just the one IMC for everyone, or for us all to have our own IMC's. So long as the IMC idea evolves...

What is the theoretical optimum for IMC's? How many is ideal for the UK? Do we need loads more, or will this dilute the idea too much?

An Irish Indymedia Site is on the way, Out Tech crew are well on the road to having the site up and spinning. Publish button is now working.

We hope the site will be on line very soon in the new year.

We all want an Irish IMC to, these thing just seem to take longer than expected (we are all working for free and already have demanding jobs etc.)

Great to see so mutch intrest in indymedia in Ireland as theres loads going on over here at the moment.

Indymedia Ireland are working on a Yearley Video and CD-ROM and although at an advanced stage will still accept contributions of Video peices (raw or edited)Irish stuff only please. For more info please mail me
