An Irish indymedia website....we want one

Ireland needs an indymedia of its own. The service provided here on the UK site is excellent but it has very little info about the irish left and irish news with a leftest perspective.
Is there any plans for an Irish Indymedia site or even page on this site?
All the leftist groups of ireland im sure would be happy to use it.
