PoliceThePolice.org.uk take on Number 10

Andrew, PTP ePetition | 23.07.2001 00:41

www.PoliceThePolice.org.uk was launched this weekend. To apply pressure on the UK government via Number 10 Downing Street, to set up: A wholly Independent Body to investigate shootings by Police Officers in the UK.

Police have in recent times shot dead an unarmed naked man in his own home, a distressed and confused schizophrenic outside his home, and a young man walking on a busy estate carrying a novelty lighter in the shape of a gun.

In light of these facts a campaign is being launched this week to highlight the shortcomings of the investigations around police shootings.

The campaign's sole purpose is to promote the PoliceThePolice ePetition which will be submitted to Number 10 Downing Street.

10 Downing Street are required to publish details on their site once 300 signatures have been recieved.

The ePetition calls for an Independent Body to be set-up to investigate all Police Shootings in the UK. To find out more visit the official website for the Police the Police e-Petition  http://www.policethepolice.org.uk

The cops don't need to be controlled by an "independent body", they need a bullet in the fucking head.

You still haven't learnt a thing, Lemming, have you?

Even after the total message obscuring mess of this weekend - even after death(s) and torture and mutilation and yet more senseless police brutality?

Even after it has become obvious that 'we' are being so blatantly incited? Even after it has become obvious that provocateurs are making the most of brainlessness?

Get real! I've said before and I'll keep saying until one of you gorillas cames around with your steel toecaps and wooden brains:-

WE CANNOT WIN BY VIOLENCE
WE DO NOT NEED VIOLENCE TO WIN

'What is gained by violence must be lost before superior violence.' - Mahatma Gandhi

WTF?

I'm sorry, I was under the impression that the last few days have taught us that the authorities are pure evil and marching through the streets waving a few flags isn't going to change anything. Guess I was wrong.
