South Bank Succumbs to Corporate Vampire

Hadrian | 08.11.2000 19:57

The boring South Bank Arts Centre in London is in "partnership" with Shell Oil and Railtrack

The poor old South Bank never attracted much interest from radicals, but now, compared with the nightmare of the Tate Modern, a Debord worst scenario of a theme park of modern art, it began to seem like a haven of a disappearing world.
Proudly boasting their new liason with big business, the South Bank leaflet is fronted by a pic of Noseferatu the vampyre. Quite appropriate.
