Edinburgh Stop the War announce a public meeting in Edinburgh on Saturday June 17th. The venue is the Augustine Church on George 4th Bridge (near the Central Library). The event starts at 2.00pm
The theme will be `HANDS OFF IRAN` as well as `End the occupation of Iraq` and `Bring the troops home now`.
The doors will open at 2.00pm for stalls; a video and Anthony Arnove’s new book `The logic of withdrawal` will be on sale.
The meeting starts at 3.00pm and high profile speakers include Alys Elica Zaerin of Action Iran, Anthony Arnove who is an author and activist, and Afghan Mohamed Asif.
