The camp is in an amazing site, literally an - ahem - stone's throw from RBS' global HQ near Edinburgh Airport: my tent is already closer to this year's target than I actually got to BAA on the 2007 day of action.
When our minibus got stopped and given the once over by the cops heading north on the M74 about 10 o'clock last night, I was feeling rather dispirited: 1-0 to them and their ANPR I thought. However, about ten minutes after we pulled away, we got the news that the site was being taken, so we put the pedal to the metal and reached the rapidly establishing camp a little after midnight.
Site is amazing: I'm already camping closer to the target for Monday's day of action than I even got to the Heathrow target, and that after battling my way through the beanfields etc. I'd really urge people who're in two minds about coming to head on up. There's real focus, energy and organisation. Don't miss out on this one.
