See the Mule website for the December Web Special Mule issue!
The December 2008 Mule Issue will be a special web exclusive issue, and will mark the official launch of our website. From Monday the 1st of December you'll see a steady stream of new articles uploaded to the website regularly over the course of the month, to form Issue 5. Visit the mule website
Throughout December you'll find a stream of news, features, reviews and analysis coming online. In this edition – Issue 5 - MULE combs the shifting global economic and political sands of the last few months to see what the tide's washed up for 2009.
* We explore the politics of Obama's emerging administration – who exactly's sitting in the big tent, and will they really be delivering the change we've been promised?
* Find out what Noam Chomsky, Susan George and other key left thinkers and writers have to say about the global credit crunch.
* Could BNP leader Nick Griffin become the North West's next MEP?
And if you're fed up with peering through a screen – come out and play! Join us for our festive fundraiser gig and website launch party in Manchester (details below).

MULE WHO?
The MULE newspaper aims to bring you radical comment and perspectives on UK politics and culture. We take an investigative look at local news. And we report directly on global stories left neglected by the mainstream media. Plus blogs, TV, film and gig reviews. All without fear, favour, reverence or Robert Peston.
The MULE is a not-for-profit, grass-roots, UK-wide project committed to using media production and mass distribution as a tool for promoting social, environmental and economic justice and peace. We aim to provide a radical and alternative perspective on current affairs not found in the mainstream media.
