David Joines, BNP

ColdCaller | 19.09.2008 08:26 | Stop the BNP's Red White and Blue festival | Anti-racism | Liverpool

Profile of BNP goon David Joines of Ellesmere Port, tel 07761 492616. This is one of a ongoing series of profiles on the shady personalities of Britains largest fascist party.

David Joines is a long-standing fascist and has stood for the BNP in various elections mostly in the north-west but never doing very well. Perhaps this is because he has a personality about as upbeat as Eeyore the disney donkey. He has been nicknamed "Jolly" Joines by some political opponents in obvious irony but not to his face as he would sulk! He helps Arthur Kemp run the BNPs merchandising operation "Excalibur" from an industrial estate on Deeside. So I imagine him spending a lot of time miserably putting BNP keyrings in envelopes while little Arthur shouts at him to work faster from the next room! His other main current role in the BNP is as the site manager of the RedWhiteandBlue "Festival" and I'm not sure what this involves, perhaps he walks backwards in front of chairman Griffin sweeping leaves and mud out of his way? You can ring him on 07761 492616 to find out more about this character, any further information welcome.

Fascist party???

19.09.2008 09:40

Just why is the British National Party a fascist party? You can't make statements like that without backing them up.

By the way why don't you call the Labour Party fascist? The Labour Party has invaded two countries Afghanistan and Iraq! Killing resulting in the deaths of up to one million people! Why don't you go and demonstrate outside the Labour Party conference instead?

Why call the BNP fascists?

19.09.2008 10:28

Because they uphold a pseudo-scientific, pseudo-historical racial bias in favour of caucasians, they stand staunchly against rights for homosexuals, they seek to return men and women to their traditional gender roles, a large proportion of their membership is antisemitic, they constantly blame 'reds' for their problems, and present themselves as the antithesis to socialists and communists (but while still presenting themselves as 'pro-working class', in the tradition of corporativism), prominent party officials and individuals involved or affiliated with the party have denied the holocaust, they present their ideas as part of a myth-centred ideology, they seek to recruit foremost from amongst the young, and finally, their party leader has the final decision on all matters relating to the party, having the power to overrule any and all party members on any matter (ie. he is what could be termed a 'dictator' within the party heirarchy). Remind you of any other famous fascists?

The Labour party went to war not on racial grounds, but on economic ones. They do not fulfil any of these criteria to any meaningful extent. They are hardly governing in the interests of the people, but nor are they fascist in any sense of the word. They are simply capitalist and authoritarian, much like most other political parties in the world.

Common Knowledge

19.09.2008 10:40

why should he/she need to back up what is basicly common knowledge but just to educate you why dont you look at these 2 links first. just to be sure you understand what fascism and racism is.

Fascism :-  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
Racism :-  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism

Now go and look at the policies and membership requirements for the BNP along with there " man date " and im pretty sure you will agree. That they are both racist and fascist.

Policies & Manifesto :-  http://www.bnp.org.uk/about-us/policies/

And if you yourself are a BNP supporter i suggest you do some research on who they are and where they come from and be sure you know what your supporting, as even in they eyes of the law ignorance is no defence let alone in the eyes of morality.

There's plenty of opportunity to protest against Labour war - national demo on Sat 20th September in Manchester. I agree New Labour are not fascists in the correct sense of the word, but they are nevertheless inured to the wanton destruction and loss of life that their decisions have brought about. I trust you will be there, or at a similar event? Or are you just cheer-leading for genuine fascists?

Harrassment

19.09.2008 13:03

I don't see what good it does to encourage harrassment of these people. Just another activist kick and oblation, another "cause" and "action" to reinforce the group, no matter how pointless. We haven't moved beyond the point where racism and right wing thought can't be fought by debate and overcome by understanding. To pretend otherwise just strengthens people like the BNP by making the whole issue seem far more critical than it actually is.

It is the 'harassment' of these people that stops them from spreading their evil bile by taking the fight to their doorstep, their place of work, or wherever they raise their heads.

Meaningful debate does nothing (I have and will keep on trying) as these people do not want a debate that may inform they want to drip feed twisted statistics and stir up hatred and put themselves forward as the answer.
