The Camp for Climate Action is scheduled for Aug 26 - Sept 4 near Leeds. People from Manchester and Liverpool will form a neighbourhood at the Camp. This is a callout to join the neighbourhood now.
The neighbourhood will consist of a kitchen, a large marquee and camping space. People should bring tents, crockery and cutlery, water bottles and weather-proof clothing.
You should also be prepared to go on a public mass-action against nearby Drax power station on Thursday Aug 31. (www.reclaimpower.org.uk)
From Manchester, we will be able to transport some bags and tents to the Camp, making it easier for groups taking the train or cycling together.
