Rhythms of Resistance: against the privatisation of social housing

how a load of drummers can prevent the powers that be from going about doing as they please?

traditionally and historically people protest by marching in the streets. i.e. people raise their opinions by a demonstration. So that's what Rhythms of Resistance did - marched while also playing music - the music attracted the attention of people who also joined the march to show their agreement to the march. There was also speeches and a hip hop /rap band who also spoke of social struggles and issues.

Have we changed the world? No, but at least we made our disagreement to the government known. Does the government care? Probably not (just like when millions marched against the war in england) but we will not accept this and do nothing. We will take the streets and still squat.

(Also there was a squated warehouse to express the opinion of housing for all. )
