In Manchester, we will be holding a protest vigil in the Peace Gardens (St Peter's Square) at 6pm tomorrow (Wed 1 Feb).
We have just learned this morning that the 100th British soldier has
been killed in Iraq.
Military families have asked that the British people mark this terrible occasion with protests and vigils.
In Manchester, we will be holding a protest vigil in the Peace Gardens (St Peter's Square) at 6pm tomorrow, wednesday 1st February. Military families will lay a wreath on the Cenotaph, and we will read the names of the 100 dead soldiers, as well as the names of 100 Iraqis killed in this unjust and illegal war.
