Manchester Street Olympics 2004 Sat 21st August
Really important meet up so we can plan what we're doing and when we can make props etc is:
Tomorrow - Sand bar 2.30 on Grosvenor Rd city centre
If you can't come, send it around via email etc. but don't take the easy way out.....

its about reclaiming public space, putting two fingers up to corporate manchester and corporate olympics, that sport isn't just for celebrity athletes and having a good time with bemused members of the public.
Intial ideas are starting with the gentle sport of sack racing, then egg and spoon (with free range ping pong balls for all you vegans), three legged race, wheelbarrow race and then......
pro-celebrity kisschase (celebrity yet to be confirmed) and a shopping marathon.
