Scab Climbing Company

Is this the company that were used in the Blackwood evictions?

Richard Turner were the firm used in the evictions during the late 90's at Newbury etc. They hire in climbers for scab jobs such as this. In the past they have found it very difficult to hire climbers because of the pressure from the legitimate climbing world not to do so. This was particularly effective when scab climbers were identified, and there were incidence of such scum being banned from climbing walls etc.

It would be terrible if photos of these scabs could appear on the web.

Richard Turner was at the Blackwood eviction as were some of the climbers from the late 90's. The website mentions Manchester Airport etc as people they have worked for.

The home addresses for the climbers were valid in 1997 - don't start harrassing the innocent!

The bailiffs at Blackwood, as at many other protests were M Leyshon & Co (Martin Leyshon).
