The date for the result of the Nine Ladies appeal is next Thursday 25th March, so eviction could well start end of next week. might be a good idea to let people know (if they don't already) so if they can get there, they will. the police and baliffs will have a hell of a time trying to seal the site off because there are numerous routes in. it'd be good to get there before the eviction starts though. i've no intention whatsoever of encouraging people to obstruct the police and baliffs in their duties. but i would encourage people to go for a walk in the beautiful wooded area in a National Park on a lovely spring day.
also, i'd appreciate it if people would check out the new manc social forum website. its better than it was and its got recent info about actions/campaigns etc. if anyone has links, ideas, comments on the website etc, anything they would like to see included, please tell me and we'll have a look. i'd like the website to be not just an info thing but a developing, changing, organic thing that changes shape with whats happening. but the last bit is just my thoughts, because we've not talked about the website much yet at the social forum.

BUT its not necessarily a reprieve because the visit can go ahead after the eviction (and they might prefer that). It could be typical confusion tactics, or just a separate issue altogether. meanwhile the question of active v dormant quarries is going to the high court, and its possible that could be won. but because the warrants have been served, the eviction could still be any day - most people have expected it this coming weekend. Is this making any sense??
best i've got.
