Finally, in what was a small victory, the security TOOK THE LABOUR SIGNS DOWN!!! Obviously it was causing too much of an embarressment so they were removed, a small victory in the battle to reclaim the streets of Manchester.

They didn't listen to the people when millions marched against the iraq war. They didn't listen to people when they were told in no uncertain terms that we don't want GM.
Now they say they want another public conversation about GM!!
The big conversation and their other phoney consultations are just PR SPIN devices to allow them to say they are engaging the public, when in fact they only listen to what they want to hear.
