Austrian far-right politician Joerg Haider has been killed in a road accident.

Haider died near Klagenfurt in Carinthia, his political stronghold.

He was driving alone when his car came off the road and he suffered severe head and chest injuries,

Hope it was a very slow and very painful death, fucking scum!

Austrian national press starts collecting photos of the impromptu shrines on street corners with photos of the dead fuhrer and dinky little catholic (for Austria is a catholic place) candles. These candles are themselves a deathtrap filled with horrible toxines and wrapped in combustible plastic which need close attention. Never go asleep with a catholic votive light lit in your room be my advice.

here's a diagram which though written in German (the language of Austria) does not demand much prior familiarity with the hun but just an understanding of how the global comercial press explore all angles of a decent story. We thus follow the numbers in the diagram and see that the car in which he was driving hit a variety of unweildly objects and entered a spin. These last seconds would have stretched out into an eternity of clarity and detached realisation. This illustration is thus a schematic representation of the slowed down final moments of a man's life. We may put much stock in it especially if unlike those who light candles for him on streets in Austra we do not believe in the tunnel of light and friendly jesus tribunal.

I admit I've no particular interest in fomenting a conspiracy or plausible third agent brake fliud angle on this story. But I'm sure there are those who can flip this incident both ways - attract attention to their hidious cause, whisper insinuations of veiled martyrdom glibly hidden behind laments that he was cut down at his prime. Thus we on the left, on the anti-fa side should engage too.

☞ was it an accident and are cars so dangerous when driven at high speed?
☞ did the more extreme cohorts of Haider play a hand in his convenient death?
☞ etc., i'd suggest to our very capable friends and comrades in Austrian anti-fash to examine the statements of Max Lang of the ÖAMTC as reported in the Austrian Standard this afternoon that "this is no typical accident".
