Dissident Island Radio Tonight - October Dirt

instantwerewolf | 03.10.2008 14:01 | Anti-militarism | Education | Free Spaces | London

We've had our fingers in a lot of pies and have come up with a neat little show this Friday (October 3rd) - Broadcasting for the first time from the London Activist Resource Centre (LARC) tonight's show promises to be a goodun so listen in from 9-11(ish)

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

On tonight's show we've got people from the new library house squat in South London on to tell us their plans for world domination as well as a few bits from the pro-feminist men's group who were hanging out there at the time. Members of the Trident Ploughshares are coming into the studio to talk to us about their upcoming blockade of the Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE). Following up on our education piece from last week we have an interview with activists from the Wembley Tent City talking about all the hoopla with academy schools.

Along with this there's some bits recorded during the European Social Forum and a chat with the minds behind Climate Rush. Of course we'll whack a few tunes in (maybe even a recipe!) and to finish us all off we've got DJ Dirt coming in to take us late into the night.

Should be quality, tune in tonight or download the podcast from our website from Monday
