Local teachers and residents are now gathering at the site to resist the eviction. Press coverage has already been sorted. Maybe a legal observer might be nice.
The order came as Brent Council court representatives demanded he personally pay charges amounting to nearly £6000 and be banned from ever entering the site of the proposed Wembley Academy, without Brent Council permission, until July 2010, when the privatised school construction will finish.
The Judge did reduce the costs to £3500, as he thought for 13 hours work on Brent Council's behalf, but it is still enough to financially destroy Roberts.
The site ban affects Hanks job and his role of Brent Secretary of the NUT and ATL.
This is a clear attack on the whole campaign, to financially crush those who Brent Council consider the "ringleaders".
A freelance journalist was reported to be on call to doorstep the Brent Council representatives as they left the court, but he claimed they ran away, ducked out through a back door and sped off in a waiting car.
