Party on the tube tomorrow

riot act | 30.05.2008 22:16 | London

Well it’s a shame that they didn’t have the guts to organise this when the tube booze ban was actually in force but it should be given a plug anyway.

Not that they need it with almost 7000 people thinking of attending on this facebook site (1) already.

So for the last chance to have a legal piss up on the tube meet at Liverpool Street Station this Saturday at 9pm (clockwise, rear of train).

The interesting thing about this event is the general chinless wonderlessness of some of the organisers who are quick to stress it’s not a protest. It’s all very jolly and middle class which leads us to wonder how many of them were in fact Boris voters.

Some seem to have been suckered in Boris’ faux libertarian stance, but the Tories don’t do libertarianism, not really.

Unless of course it’s the liberty of the bosses to fuck over and exploit the working class.

Parties appear to have been called throughout the day with one starting at midday, one at 3pm and then the biggie at 9pm all leaving from Liverpool Street. The Met are threatening to be out in force. This could be a giggle.

drinking is revolutionary

Let's concentrate on the laws that stop people from feeling free to fuck themselves up, a sober riot would be much more affective, what with balance, aim reaction time etc etc. Don't bore me with liberal bs, of course it's not political, what can be achieved through drinking other than drunkeness? Feel free to be drunk, just don't expect anything good to come of it

You managed to assault 4 tube drivers and three other members of staff.

Fantastic, I'm sure you must be really proud of yourself..... Well done.

What 'Fun event' are you organising next week? Burn an A&E nurse party?
