The Commons Science and Technology Committee criticism of MRC

London Against Camden Danger Lab / London Against BLISS Lab | 03.04.2008 13:52 | London | World

On April !st the Guardian newspaper covered the story of the government being criticised over MRC financing. Perhaps we should also be reminded of the governments own criticism of the MRC chairman who was described as "vague" and "not the right person for the job", by the The Commons Science and Technology Committee. see www.public service.co.uk/news_story.asp?id=3475&topic=Management=%and20%OHR

This project, the world's largest ever, highest level, virus containment facility and animal testing lab due to be built on a Camden council estate on the border with Islington behind the British Library at Kings Cross is the biggest and most controversial project to affect London next to the Olympic Games 2012. Not funny if the government describes the person behind it as "vague" and "not the right person for the job".
