Anarchist Soma Film screening Tuesday Evening

Movimeintos are showing a very special film on Tuesday 25th at The Notting Hill Arts Club.
The film will be shown at 7 sharp, entry is free before 8pm

Soma( http://somadocumentary.com/), a film by Nick Cooper looks at a form of Capoeira that incorporates the ideas of Wilhelm Reich, the politics of anarchism, and the culture of capoeira angola, Soma is used by therapists organized in anarchist collectives to fight the psychological effects of authoritarianism. Nick Cooper travelled to Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Bahia, and São Paulo to find the exercises, principles, voices, and movement of somatherapy.

The film will be shown at 7pm, and the event is free entry until 8

if you stay after the film you will be guest to some straight up mind-blowing latin flavoured sounds too.
