* Contingent on the 8 March International Women’s Day “Million Women Rise March” alongside the x-talk project to teach English to migrant sex workers, the International Union of Sex Workers, the Left Women’s Network and others. * Feminist Fightback, All African Women's Group and Black Women's Rape Action Project are calling for a picket of Serco, the company that runs Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre, where up to 405 women and children asylum seekers are detained at any time, in appalling conditions. * Benefit in Solidarity with Iranian Political Activists. Feminist Fightback is trying to raise funds for Iranian socialist and feminist activists fighting government repression. Now, more than ever, it is important to show solidarity with the Iranian activists, while opposing Imperialism and War. Help us raise the money! There will be entertainment and a raffle. * Reproductive Freedoms Teach-In: discussing ideas and planning action for a woman’s right to choose. 12 April, 12-5pm, Clement House Building, London School of Economics, London, WC2A (Holborn tube). As feminists, we want every woman to have a real right to choose – whether to have, or not to have, a child. This event is aimed at feminists, trade unionists, students, school students and others. Sessions include how to campaign, imperial motherhood, making the pro-choice case effectively, where we are now and planning for a national day of action.
