"Police and Nazis, same shit"

The demo outside the Greek National Tourist Office was only called out on Sunday night, one day after the Athens events - see

http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2008/02/390563.html for background info. Even with such sort notice, a good 40-45 anti-fascists showed up. A greek flag was burned and the participants left the area en mass, chained up and taking the streets!

Well done to those that turned up, greek banner looked great. Police in Greece have links to fascist dictatorship that only finished in 1974, Greeks as justified in their self defence. Have some sympathy for other one but UK police aren't fascist, its insulting to what our comrades & family members fought in WW2 to say so.
Fascists of this world are a minority who need locking up∨ reconditioning,
their dictators need encouragement to do what Hitler did to himself.

Police are a professional militia, the February St Petersburg 1917 revolution included police & soldiers who rebelled. Then Lenin got his proletarian dictatoship Marx advocated in the October "peace"coup which gave the Ukraine to Kaisers axis powers who payed for it & his sealed train.
Anarchists had militias & prisons in Ukraine & Spain for fash, etc.

Masking up & propaganda of the deed is no replace for a well organised revolutionary libertarian municipalist movement with large syndicalist unions organised together on a united platformist strategy advocated by Mackhno. Then we can evolve from the corporatism that sponsors the various dictators & fascists completely.

Global ecological disasters & moves by corporate state to using unsafe robots & military UAV's from workplaces to the battlefield are a imminent threat to all, that at same time should unite the human race like climate change.

I'd be perfectly happy to see a well organised libertarian revolutionary syndicalist platformist etc etc movement emerge, but make no mistake - if that does happen, the police WILL be used to smash it. Any police officers who refused to obey orders in that situation will cease to be police in any meaningful sense. Why is it that so many articles on indymedia seem to have pro-police crap on them nowadays?

having once been thrown in the back of a riot van and surrounded by a group of pigs, i was somewhat distraught when the sargeant announced to me "this is your worst nightmare. we really are facist". now i´m not saying all bristish coppers are facist, however..........
thankfully i had me wits about me which saved me from the promised beating and RAPE.
though of 78 known arrests at this one rts (nottingham as happens), i was the ONLY ONE to escape unscathed........
