Kenyans Demand Justice. Downing St, London, 12 Jan 2008

Kenyans demonstrated opposite Downing Street calling for action to give them the President they voted for.

Kenyans want mediation ...

No to Dictatorship
No to Dictatorship

Around a hundred Kenyans gathered opposite Downing St in London on Saturday to protest at the rigged result of the recent Kenyan election, when voting returns were falsified to keep President Mwai Kibaki in power and cheat
opposition leader Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement of the victory the people had voted for.

One man held a handwritten placard reading 'Kenyans want mediation and peace, not police driven violence.' Another stated 'Kalonzo, Prince of Darkness', referring to Kalonzo Musyoka who was named by Kibaki as his vice-president shortly after his swearing-in, but most were simple calls for democracy and justice.
