Photoshop the FIT!

riotact | 03.12.2007 16:46 | London

The London FIT team have been considering designs for their corporate Christmas cards with an emphasis on that personal touch.

The usually humourless scamps are going all out to show their festive side in a rebranding exercise that could see the FIT team dressed as snowmen or Tinkerbell at protests over Christmas.

After a dreadful couple of weeks Met bosses are keen to restore public confidence in the force with a series of PR measures planned.

These will include photographer Neil dressing as Widow Twanky in Parliament Square and handing out sweets to passers-by whilst officer CX437 serenades Brian Haw and co with a selection of festive tunes.

A Met spokesperson has told us:

"We just want to show the softer side of the Met and demonstrate what a pantomime the whole outfit really is."
