Brian Haw – six and a half years in the Square!!

Parliament Square peace campaigner Brian Haw has now been on his one-man vigil in London’s Parliament Square for six and a half years. Here are some photos taken on Saturday 1st December, which was day number 2,373 of his protest, which started on June 1st 2001.

Imagine spending over 2,000 consecutive days and nights in all weathers in the square opposite the `mother of all parliaments`. Despite numerous attempts to evict him from the Square he is still very much there and said that whatever the authorities do “I’m not moving.”
