The ACTION COMMITTEE TO GET THE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK has learnt this week that several members of the UK Bangladeshi community, who have been trying to get the perpetrators to return the money to the people, have encountered significant obstruction of communication when dealing with certain ‘designated’ employees in the Bangladesh High Commission in London.
One such UK Bangladesh, who is also a member of the management committee of the Bangladesh Centre based in Notting Hill, West London, has given this Acton committee details of the obstructions being caused by the particular officials.
We are collecting the rest of the information which will be posted here during this [Friday 17 August 2007] afternoon.
Other updaters:
To all enquirers about ACTION COMMITTEE TO GET THE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK, we are not connected with ANY STAFF member in the 'constituency office' of or with any associates of the Bethnal Green and Bow MP George Galloway. We are NOT in contact with ANY UK GOVT department. We are however open to be contacted by George Galloway who made a perfectly valid suggestion when he spoke on the first Sunday of July 2007.
However, we are NOT involved with any party either in the UK or in Bangladesh. All we are doing is to provide legal and constitutional and organizational support to any claimant who has lost money. We are setting out these in more detail during this afternoon.
Tank you
