At around 8.25 a car containing some police Top Brass - unconfirmed reports claim it was "Gold Command" - swept out of the Sipson end of the blockade and the road was re-opened.
Walking towards the camp we came across Penny - until yesterday the camp's police liason officer until resigning in disgust at their intransigence - who'd decided to engage in some real police liason and block their entrance by supergluing herself to the gates.
At around 9.15 police declared her "free" - and promptly bundled her into a police van.

The legal team should also be making a complaint, even though it will not mean anyone is held to account as the IPCC are simply the propaganda wing of the police just like their predecessors.
The police will no doubt try a different tactic to cause trouble next.
