Lord Brians sixth anniversary.

the maori | 31.05.2007 13:40 | SOCPA | Anti-militarism | Free Spaces | Repression | London

It is Brian Haws sixth anniversary on 2nd June. There will be a party.

Brian Haw will mark six years of continuous protest in Parliament Square, Westminster this Saturday, the 2nd of June despite the draconian measures of Her Majesties government and covert attempts to remove him using violence by U.S. and U.K. secret police groups. To mark this outstanding achievement Brian will be holding a gathering from 2pm onwards. Please come along and bring food and drink.

I'll try to be there! (From Edinburgh)

I have met Brian a number of times and he really is a remarkable inspiration to us all. I will be trying to come down to London from Edinburgh (about 400 miles). I would encourage all those who live a little closer to London to make the effort to go.
Long live Brian Haw!

Don't try to let me believe that a single man sleeping rough in London at the same spot for six years can actually defeat whatever secret police or meatheads thrown at him.

If he is there it is because it is convenient for the powers in place to have that spot monopolized by a nutter that is into reptilian aliens, etc...

confusion

i think 'styx' is getting brian haw mixed up with david icke. brian is a lot saner than most people in this country who don't care to think for one second just how insane this world and the governments we allow to run it are. i've never heard him mention lizards!

Hey 'rikki'

Care to explain how he reppels those "covert attempts to remove him using violence by U.S. and U.K. secret police groups" ?

Care to explain how he does circumvent the "draconian measures of Her Majesties government" and repells the "covert attempts to remove him using violence by U.S. and U.K. secret police groups." ?

I mean it could be usefull to everyone to know a few of the unvulnerability tricks he uses.

If we all knew them, maybe we could actually manage to change something.

How Brian Haw became "unvulnerable"(sic)

09.06.2007 06:56

To respond to the person calling themself styx, I think I can 'explain how he [Brian Haw] does circumvent the "draconian measures of Her Majesties government" and repells the "covert attempts to remove him using violence by U.S. and U.K. secret police groups."'

Surely it is by doing his best to hide nothing, and display his political views and allegiances as openly and blatantly as possible, an alternative tactic to underground networking and paranoia.

Brian Haw is making a demonstration in the truest sense of the word.
