Dale Farm, the biggest Travellers' community, has been under siege for 5 years.
Only a temporary high court injunction now stops Basildon council bringing in
the bulldozers to destroy the 86 homes here. Bailiff company, Constant & Co., are on standby for the eviction, and £2 million has been set aside to cover the huge cost.
BUT WHAT IF THE FIRM THAT SUPPLIES THE BULLDOZERS DECIDED TO DROP THIS WORK?
Dale Farm residents have hired a double-decker bus to take them to the gates of the company's biggest depot for a protest rally.
Will you join us?
The bus leaves at 10 am on Thursday 31st May from Dale Farm (take A127 to Basildon, then left into Gardeners' Lane North and left again into Oak Road).
Location and target of the protest has to be kept under wraps until the day.
After this initial protest, others will be organized at the company's depots around the UK and in Ireland.
