There is a demo right now (13:30) outside the Zimbabwean Embassy, Strand Street (nearest tube: Charing X) in opposition to Mugabe’s recent repression – murdering of activists, violence towards competing political parties, etc.
Sorry about the complete lack of notice, I only just found out about it myself.

This is an absurd claim..who has he murdered? What repression? His elected government is under attack by neocolonials who want him removed in order to keep the land in the hand of white land owners, AND to enforce neoliberal policies that Mugabe has thwarted...
MDC IS BACKED AND FUNDED BY THE UK AND US GOVERNMENTS
What a nitwit!

Mugabe stolen election hardly makes him the democratic leader of anywhere, and if you want to see repression of a people take a real look at Zimbabwe, the ordinary people who can't buy food because of your beloved leaders economic mismanagement and hyper inflation, or perhaps he hundreds of thousands of people who flood across the south african border looking for a better life.
Perhaps you'd better get out of your cosy embassy in London and back to the homeland.

Greg Elich (who wrote the best introduction to Zimbabwe and its current situation: Zimbabwe Under Siege) speaks about the elections in Zimbabwe....

They were fair and square..but MDC lost and so is furious and seeking to launch a coup, or get countries to make the economy scream to get Mugabe removed...this is NOT democratic behavior, and shows why MDC should not get into power.
