16 Children and 20 adults from DR Congo are to be deported by Charter Flight (according to latest information available to us.)
Home Office snatch squads have detained a number of families and individuals from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who have been living in Briain for several years. All those detained have been served with the same removal directions: "Directions have now been given for your removal from the United Kingdom by (flight/ship) OTTHxla4334 to Congo Democratic Republic at 21.00 hrs on Monday 26 February 2007".

Over 4,000.000 million people have lost their lives in the war. The war is offically over but violence continures, with extra-judicial execution of civilians, rape, torture, recruitment of child soldiers. An extimate 1200 people are dying every week as a result of conflict, and the situation is worsening accordidng to international observers. The infrastructure is very damaged and in some areas non - existent. Many people have no access to clean water or health care.
