reclaim love IV - eros piccadilly circus pics

rikki | 17.02.2007 18:55 | London

a 'love collective' took over the mantle of venus to keep the series of non-commercial valentine celebrations alive. although there was not much time to plan, a small crowd arrived, and with the help of a sound-system and a mixture of pagan and chinese new year ceremonies, love was spread to some of the shoppers and tourists passing through piccadilly circus.

there was a sound system, some dancing, some howling (it's the end of the chinese year of the dog), and then a fertility cake was cut and passed around to passers-by and tourists.

there were no problems from authority, and a happy party took place in the sunshine.

venus will be back next year with the full-on reclaim love experience.
