A London solidarity group projected a film show on the front of the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square and distributed information leaflets about the deteriorating situation in Oaxaca, Mexico.

A film was projected showing the state oppression against the people of Oaxaca City that has seen tens killed and hundreds imprisoned, many of whom, in the style of the Reagan-era black-operations in Central America of the 1980’s, have simply “disappeared”.

The fear now, from on the ground in Mexico, is uncertainty of what will happen next with the new president, Felipe Calderon, a diddy Hitler lovingly known as “Fecal” by his own people, who seems intent on hiding his short and pathetic stature by attacking any issue in Mexico with massive military force - be it social, political or criminal.

The film-show and leaflet distribution was halted by police, hanging banners and the projection of Mexican State violence on to the London National Gallery being the main issue.

The solidarity group did as the police and security officials from the National Gallery said and removed the banners. The battery on the projector had already ran out.

When the police left the area, and just as a televised Christmas carol service by a beautifully Christian choir, singing fake peace and goodwill and consume-or-die festive messages, the solidarity group decided to subvert the show for a while by hanging the banners by the side of the riot fence surrounding the church choir for all to see.
