legalise cannabis party rehashed

The 'Legalise Cannabis Alliance' (LCA), a legally constituted political party which stood candidates in Parliamentary elections against prohibitionists in the Labour, Tory, Liberal and even the Green Party, has decided on a major change of strategy.

An 'emergency' meeting this weekend held in Norwich has decided to give up fighting elections against the major political parties, and concentrate instead on lobbying for legalising cannabis using other methods.

For years the Legalise Cannabis Alliance (LCA) put pressure on cannabis prohibitionists in the main political parties by offering to take valuable votes away unless they changed their policies. On the other hand, any candidate from any party who publicly supported legalising cannabis was allowed to stand unopposed.

Legalise cannabis. Truly the the the most crucial political issue of our time.

I'll support your call to legalize it

Hey dude

I'm happy to smoke it up if you can supply me with some just to demonstrate that it should be legalized. London is seeming to be very dry right now.

Any donation campaign materials available (for personal use only, of course)??

Cannabis prohibition is symptomatic of the authoritarian nonsense people have to put up with in the society we live in. The more of these prohibitions we fight against the better. Would detractors of this cause feel the same way about women getting the vote, legalising gay sex and other, seemingly 'minor' issues rather than capitalism and the state itself?
