This Tuesday, STATE OF EMERGENCY will be hosting a public meeting at LARC to discuss actions and possibilities for Sack Parliament on October 9th.
If you've got ideas, questions, comments, or want to meet people who'll be there or find an affinity group, come along.
STATE OF EMERGENCY meetings usually have police waiting outside while people arrive. Don't let them scare you. They come every week, and are there primarily to intimidate us.
Also, upcoming weekend of resistance:
"People should not be afraid of their governments - governments should be afraid of their people"

The public meetings relating to the Sack Parliament event are often attended by police photographers. Do you really think that Crisis wouldn't immediatly give in to any pressure or even the hint of controversy and cancel such meetings?
Basically, LARC exists because years of experience using pubs and 'public' halls has led to people deciding we have to have our own spaces where we will not find our events cancel or refused by those who can't face the pressure. LARC is probably perfectly big enough for the meeting planned and if the organisers thought they needed somewhere bigger then they would have booked rampART which is also just down the road.
that's a really crap idea
Could you post the results of this meeting please?
