not a serious political issue

15.09.2006 10:10

Veganism is only a fashion, a moral issue for rich kids who care more about animals than people. this is not serious, has no chance whatsoever of success ( people like eating meat because it tastes nice, is good for you, and fills you up, which is more than can be said for vegan food). it does not deserve attention, and the left is wasting its time on this non issue. furthermore, there is a very authoritarian/fascist strain to veganism. why??? how would one stop people eating meat if this doctrine ever gains real power??? the only way would be by strict authoritarian means. Thou shall not eat meat!!! Meat is murder!! So, let us say, no to this fake movement, and enjoy eating foie gras, lobsters, crabs, pork chops, mmmmmm....

Thank you Sai Ko JO for bringing light into my life once again. eat meat!!

Good, Tim. I am glad you've seen the light and have been saved from this false ideology. I bet you are sick of Linda Mcartney's Veggie burgers!!! Get some real food down ya, and start doing real politics.

Meat makes the world go round! You'll DIE without it!

Wow I'm really against society, I'm "in" with the revolution to save the world, so lets all sit around eating greasy beef burgers which the Amazon is being destroyed for, the hungry went without food for, and the huge piles of SHIT we produced to make it.. YEAH! Fight the power! Eco revolution!

Never mind that meat production is the second most damaging industry to the environment - second only to vehicle emissions! But nevermind, I'm so COOL because I think I know better, and butchering animals is the way forward to a peaceful and cruelty-free world! Yeahhhh!
