This is what condi rice was on about when she was talking about a new middle east. Is this new world order we sometimes talk about going to be a zionist order?. If that is the case and looking at the pictures coming out of lebanon, well, i fear for the future.

I find your short and abrupt article on the threat of a ‘greater Israel’ rather biased. What makes you think that the state of Israel is trying, with aid from the USA, to take over the region?
Have you considered population statistics in your research, of Israel compared with the rest of the Mid East?
Have you considered that Israel is the only democracy in the Mid East?
Have you not considered, sir, that the state of Israel is hemmed in and surrounded by predominantly Arab nations, most of which seek the destruction of Israel?
With world-wide anti Semitism rife, your article offers no information. You forget that a war consists of two or more sides, and on all sides there are stories to tell. Try to research this before making immature, uneducated and fool-hardy assumptions on a nations’ intentions.
Israel has several times and over many years been threatened with extinction, and I am not referring to the holocaust (although there an example exists if ever there was one).
Im sure you may have heard from your media sources Iran’s point of view on the state of Israel.
Israel may seem to have the upper hand, yet in a region which desires its total annihilation one would think they would need the upper hand.
All war is tragic, on either side, and that is enough.
By all means, offer your critique of Israel’s’ heavy handed approach and their apparent blanket bombing, but with a little more intelligence next time. Be a good sport.

Jack W
