highlight for me was bill patterson reading harold pinter poems - very powerful, and not your usual nice and cosy speeches telling you to write letters to your mp
















lots of luminaries making speeches of varying efficacy. a bit of aggressive flag-burning and tearing after (missing the point?), and some moments of laughter, sadness, sharing, hope, understanding, and solidarity.
