There are three brave and effective activists who have locked themselves to an oil drum and are blockading the EDO weapons factory at Farm Road in Moulescoomb, Brighton.

There are three brave and effective activists who have locked themselves to an oil drum and are blockading the EDO weapons factory at Farm Road in Moulescoomb, Brighton.

Martin, one of the activists, has stated on BBC lunch time news that the escalating violence in the Middle East is not being addressed properly and that they felt something must be done to draw attention to it and to show solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon who are suffering such intolerable conditions.

(Shoudl point out that I just saw it on the news, am not a representative, so this is just my interpretation so that people know its happening)

Good media coverage for no arrests, 2 mancs, a Brightonian and 2 lumps of concrete.

Who needs mass mobilisation. Just get some friends and start mixing that powder.

I saw it both on bbc south TV news and meridian TV news this evening. BBC Online give it a mention here  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/southern_counties/5187726.stm
A friend told me they heard about it on Juice FM, and it also went out on Google news on the net in four versions including Middle East media.
