They (BBC) broadcast the original statements from the Met boss Bliar (2)
which all turned out to be a total pile of shite.
It seems that telling whopping great porkie pies is not something that iis limiited to politicians, although they are past masters, the police force
is also very cute whhen it comes to being economical with the truth.

Conscientious well trained Police Officers were told there was a bomber to be stopped. Had there been a bomb they would have been killed, as would many other people. They went in and did the job they had been trained for, risking their lives to save others. That they over-did the job several times is not a reason to slag them off as gunslingers.
Until such time as everyone is good enough to be an Anarchist, it is likely that having a Police Force will be a necessity.
To be a useful Citizen you should be asking what is wrong with the Police system. How can it be improved? That killing is not a good place to start the investigation, though there is a tie back through Tory B.Liars responsiblity for creating the conditions causing that killing, connecting all the way back to the Police breaking the Law in the Miners' Strike. At Thatchers behest. That is a better place to start, the Police failed to call a politician to account. It is time for better Policing. Overdue.
The Menezes killing comes towards the end of the investigation.
