Summer Solstice Party to launch

PEACE & WAR

A video installation by multi-media artist Gaynor O'Flynn. The aim is to generate a dialogue of the public's thoughts on Peace & War



Gaynor has asked over 100 people from all walks of life including perhaps the most famous farmer on the planet, Michael Eavis, the legendary Tony Benn, Radio 1's Chris CoCo, the world music masters Afro-Celt Sound System & the beautiful genius that is Michael Franti...the same questions...

" What does Peace mean to you?" and "What does War mean to You?"

There is a fantastic Summer Solstice Launch party open to all starting at 8pm, June 21st 2006.
With live music from Gaynor O'Flynn & the beinghuman band, the Songlines Choir & chilled, world vibes from the beinghuman DJ's & VJ's at the beautiful, environmentally friendly space of the Mile End Arts Pavilion & gardens, Grove Road, London E3 ( Mile End Tube) party cost £5 all profit to peace charities. The exhibition runs 10 am to 5 pm Thursday 22nd until Sunday June 25th by donation.
The exhibition will also be part of Portobello Film Festival in August www.portobellofilmfestival.com Gaynor hopes to take it to San Fransisco during Michael Franti's Power To The Peaceful Festival www.powertothepeaceful.org & will remain online as an interactive exhibition in perpetuity.
