The newly-elected Opposition leader on tower Hamkest Coucnil Abjol Miah has today confirmed his support to the Khoodeelaar! campaign against CrossRail hole policies of Tower Hamlets Council

This is the first indication since the RESPECT party won the highest number of seats on the East End Tower Hamlets Council and the statement today issued to Khoodeelaar organiser Muhammad haque by the leader of the Opposition Abjol Miah points the way towards putting new pressures on the controlling group to end ist lying for Crsosrail hoel attacks on the community.

Abjol Miah had already committed himself to supporting the Khoodeelaar! Movement against CrossRail when he spoke in the last hours of polling in Shadwell ward on 4 May 2006. He said that if he and his RESPECT group of candidates at the Council elections got elected then they would take the lead from the community organisations with records of resistance to oppressive polices. He particularly pledged that he would be following the Khoodeelaar! Campaign as far as opposing the Crossrail hoel Bill was concerned.
