A short and quick account of the demonstration and action, done fast so, hopefully, the detainees in Harmondsworth and Colnbrook can view on the Internet the protest for themselves.
As we now know, detainees were abused and locked up during the demonstration. Some alleged they were beaten by staff when they argued their right to look out the detention centre windows to view the protest.
One detainee who dared to speak to the demonstration over the phone was locked up in solitary confinement.
Hopefully the detainees will be able to view this short. I am unable to render out another version in an earlier format of WMV. If someone at the other end recieving this film can put a second version up in an early WMV format it would greatly appreciated by myself and especially those locked up in the detention centres.
