Government appeal against former decision.

I was informed by a supporter in Parliament Square this evening that Brian is to appear in the High Court at 10am on Monday. The government is appealing against the previous court deciison not to evict him from the square.

This is for real....

The Home Office are appealing the decision by the High Court last July that effectively made Brian exempt from the ban on unauthorised protest brought in by the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act.

If the appeal goes against Brian, eviction proceedings are likely to start.

We are not sure when and how this will happen but it would be great if people could be on the alert to go down to Parliament Square to show solidarity with Brian when it becomes necessary.

More on Monday...

He says he will be in Court 71 at 10.30 on Monday but it would be good if people also came to Parliament Square at the same time. Definitely not an Aprial Fool. He was busy writing the legal arguments he will use when I spoke to him.
